I'm new to the block and i brought cookies

hello! well as you can most likely tell I'm very new to blogging but I'm giving it a whirl :)) well as i promised i want this blog rich with information so for my first post i want to share this lovely quick, and easy cookie recipe. they are great weather the little ones are begging for a sweet treat, or when you feel you yourself deserves something sweet, the are so fast to whip up and clean up is super quick and you don't have to worie about getting flour all over you lovely frock :) this recipe is from the betty crocker cook book.

hurry-up chocolate chip drop cookies

3 cups gram-cracker crumbs
1 cup angel flaked coconut (i prefer bakers brand)
1 (6oz) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 can sweet and condensed milk

per-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
combine the gram-cracker crumbs, flaked coconut, chocolate chip, and the sweet and condensed milk. stir till fully combined (mixture is VERY stiff). on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper (NOT WAX) scoop the dough with an ice-cream scooper and lay them on the cookie sheet 2 inches apart bake for 15-18 min or until lightly browned on the top. remove from oven an allow to cool on a cooling rack until safe to eat (if you can hold yourself back that long hahahaha)

enjoy the recipe and please post the results :)

  1. Welcome to the blogosphere. :) These cookies sound delicious. You had me at coconut and chocolate. And graham crackers. Haha!

Good luck with blogging! If you need any tips of some sort, let me know. Not sure if I'll be of any use but I have three years under my belt. Gotta be worth something, right? ;)

  2. Love the sound of these, they have such a fabulous S'mores vibe to them (in fact, I'd be tempted to throw in a handful of mini marshmallows). Thanks for sharing this super easy - and super yummy - sounding recipe with us.

Many thanks as well for your thoughts on Chronically Vintage's new look. It can be tricky if you're new to the world of blogging/HTML, but I find Blogger's system to be quite easy to navigate, especially the current version, so if you're up for a little trial and error, it shouldn't be too tricky to make some basic tweaks and work your way up from their as your confidence level increases.

Have a fantastic weekend, dear gal!

    1. thank you sweetie i really hope you enjoy them :) and i really like that mini marshmallows idea :) deff going to try that with my next batch, that sounds so yummy :) and yea i'm starting to understand a few dynamics of the blog system and i'm really enjoying sharing stuff with you lovely gals :) and a little tip with the marshmallows make sure not yo use too many because they can get all oooozzy and burn on the bottom you can also avoid that by making a hole in the center on the cookie and placing it in there and cover it completely with the dough, then it will have gooey marshmallow in the center :)

hope you are having a lovely weekend,
