Healthy Homemade Beggin' Strips

Hello everyone! :) I Apologize for my lack of posting, My boyfriend has been going through some medical problems lately, and iv been taking care of him, he has stomach ulcers and now he is limited to what foods he can eat. No acids or greasy, fatty foods, so bacon was out of the picture and he wasn't happy about that to say the least. Well I had the genius idea to buy him a few different brands of turkey bacon to see which one he preferred. Well JennieO lost with the end results resembling the dog treat brand Beggin' Strips, which are just full of junk and fillers. We only feed out dogs high quality dog food and care about their health. I would never feed my dogs Beggin' Strips, so my boyfriend said JennieO is fit for pet consumption, so we had the idea to make them treats with the JennieO bacon. And they worked great! :) they look, smell, and have a very close resemblance without all the junk fillers. I found some time today to put together this tutorial for everyone. I hope you all enjoy it! :)

We fried it in a pan, but you can bake them as well
.

JennieO Extra Lean Turkey Bacon 95% Fat Free

Cut in half with knife or scissors

Lay in a pan and fry (remember you can bake them too!)

Flip and cook on other side

Allow to cool for a quick minute and DONE!!!! Perfect, healthy, lean, dog treats.

Place into a Mason jar while still warm, to create a vacuum pressure on the lid when sealing. Then store in fridge to retain freshness. And the best part is, it only cost me $3 for 2 packs of JennieO on sale! :) that $1.50 a pack for these Beggin' Strips! :)

I hope everyone enjoyed this tutorial :)
